I can't leave yet!

I just realized - how could I leave the US without my iPod, my precious, precious iPod having the Grindhouse soundtrack loaded onto it? Irritatingly, since these are technically two separate movies, there are two separate soundtracks. One for Planet Terror and another for Death Proof. But I've got plenty o'room on the iPod and I'll grab 'em this week.

You HAVE seen Grindhouse already...right?

We've got a delay...

There is a delay in what I shall refer to as "The Trip of a Lifetime!" However, it should all be ironed out soon enough. We'll probably have exact travel dates by next week - one would hope.

Meanwhile, I did at least get my ginchy passport cover in time. Let's here it for Ultraman passport covers sent from Hong Kong. I've also got time to figure out exactly what books I want to bring with me. I'll have my Japanese immersion program on the iPod and I'll probably throw some TV shows on there as well to watch. But I'll probably be bringing my little business traveler's guide to India along with my CSS and PHP/MySQL books for a little light reading along the way.

I'll also probably bring a couple notebooks as well since in my down time I want to work on Mike's site to really make it look good now that Madman has relaunched at Image Comics. I've started to work on the back end a bit to use some PHP and CSS, but if all goes as I want, it'll really leverage the CSS and since I have disavowed GoLive, it'll all be coded pretty much by hand. The only thing I may use is the very nice looking CSSEdit software from MacRabbit (odd name, good software). Unfortunately, I won't have access to the CSSEdit software since I'll be using a ThinkPad while on the trip. But at least I can do coding with Notepad or similar if I get to a stage where I want to code things out, if I have time of course. This is a working trip after all.
