good Wikipedia article on the subject.
green lantern coloring pagesYou, fine human...whomever you are...rock. Sadly, I have nothing digital to share with you. Good luck in searching. May I recommend looking for black and white reprints of older material to scan and color? Not necessarily the new
Showcase trades, because that would involve you having to slice the book up to put the pages onto the scanner, but I one found some older UK reprints of
DC material that was still in magazine form that was easily scanned for work in
Photoshop. In the Diamond Previews catalog, DC used to occasionally run some preview pages in black and white as well that was suitable for scanning and coloring in Photoshop. However, they really haven't done that in ages.
Another idea, if you aren't married to the concept of coloring Green Lantern pages, and I understand if you are, would be to find some comics that were originally printed in black and white. I've done some
Steve Rude Nexus material a while back for fun and non-commercial use and it turned out OK at least. I may post it up here if I can find the original Photoshop files to convert to .jpg. If you are looking for pages to color for samples to show to editors, I would strongly suggest looking for a variety of styles of art and types of characters to do anyway to show off flexibility. If you are angling for a particular gig - say, Green Lantern, then try to find something similar. Again, Nexus features lots of outer space action with cool alien designs, and the art is top notch!
